Former Cuban president Fidel Castro was spotted on Sunday in a photographed meeting with former Venezuelan Vice President Elias Jaua.

The image portrayed Castro inside a vehicle with Jaua. He reportedly accompanied Jaua, a supporter of Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez, to the Hotel Nacional in Havana on Saturday, according to news reports.

Jaua told reporters on Sunday that the 86-year-old Castro was in good health, despite rumors that he is ill. Fidel Castro has not been seen in public since March 28, when Pope Benedict XVI visited Cuba.
