New York City Councilman David Greenfield praised the Jewish patrol group Shomrim last week for helping to apprehend a bank robber. Shomrim volunteers assisting in chasing the robber, who had just stolen from bank in Boro Park for a second time.
The Boro Park branch of Shomrim helped to catch a bank robber in 2010 as well.
