Nissim Edri, commander of the Tziyon police station in Jerusalem, has been forced to resign over the sexual harassment case involving Commander Niso Shacham. Edri was suspended in July as the case was investigated.

Edri is suspected of having been aware of some of Shacham’s behavior but keeping quiet. The State Prosecution has stated that his alleged misconduct does not amount to a criminal charge, but said Edri should face a disciplinary committee for allegedly lying during the investigation.
