Attorney General Yehuda Weinstein has no authority to prevent the government from discussing – and adopting – the Levy Report, Minister of Culture and Sport Limor Livnat said Sunday. “The Attorney General has no legal excuse to prevent the adoption of the recommendations,” she declared. “The previous Attorney General, Manny Mazuz, already ruled in this matter.”

“The Netanyahu administration must act immediately to adopt Justice Edmund Levy’s recommendations,” Livnat said. “We are not a transitional government… we have the legal and administrative authority to adopt the recommendations.”
