Deputy Prime Minister Silvan Shalom spoke out after the EU's condemnation of Israel's plan to build in Gilo, saying, "It's time that the international community internalize the absolute fact that Jerusalem was reunited in 1967 and will not be divided again. Jerusalem was and will always be the capital of the Israeli nation. We will continue to build and strengthen Jerusalem, our eternal capital city."
