Instead of condemning the European Union, MK Uri Ariel instead spoke out against Netanyahu's government, saying they have no right to boast about willingness to stand up to the EU, because their record proves otherwise. 

"The public needs to remember that Netanyahu's government is the last that can boast about stengthening Jerusalem as it caused a surge in housing prices in Jerusalem as continuously surrender to European pressure and have built even less homes than Olmert's government," said Ariel.
