Dozens of Vehicles in Hevron Hills Convoy of Support

Dozens of vehicles set out, Friday morning, from the Judean town of Kiryat Arba', on a convoy of support for residents of Jewish communities in the southern Hevron Hills in their struggle against systematic harassment by local Arabs and outside anarchist agitators, as well as by police as witnessed by a recent clash between undercover officers dressed as Arabs and residents of the community of Sussiya. The slogan of the convoy was "You are not alone."

A number of organizations joined the event, organized by Women in Green for Israel's Tomorrow. Co-chairwoman Yehudit Katsover of Women in Green said, "We went out in solidarity, especially after the "undercover Arab" of the police, which we view as crossing a red line. Until now this step had only been used against Arabs. This is a new way to try to delegitimize the settlers, who are the most idealistic public in Israel, as well as the Israel Defense Forces. It can't be business as usual so we went on this solidarity campaign."
