It was disclosed, Friday morning, that the youth who shot at police volunteers and was killed by their return fire, Thursday evening in Beit Shemesh, west of Jerusalem, was 18-year-old Raz Attias of Petach Tikva. Attias's 17-year-old girlfriend was not wounded in the incident but was taken to Hadassah Ein-Kerem Hospital in Jerusalem for examination, as was a police officer who was wounded in the shootout.
