A member of the leftist organization Peace Now called the offices of the Shomron Residents’ Committee this week, posed as a fan of the settlement enterprise and asked for copies of the films which documented extreme leftists and Arabs cutting down olive trees, a few hours before they complained that the trees had been cut down by Jews.
The Peace Now member, Lior Amichai, called the office and told the secretary that he could not open the film that was shot near Elon Moreh. He asked her to send him the film. The secretary, recognizing his name from a simple search on the Internet and realizing that it belongs to the radical left organization Peace Now, took his own private email address and sent him two links which appeared in the news media and film.
Amichai subsequently responded to the secretary from his Peace Now address and thanked her for the quick response.
