Rabbi Daniel Tropper, who heads the Bayit Yehudi (Jewish Home-New National Religious Party) Membership and Election Committee, told Arutz Sheva, Thursday, that the party will publish its final voter registration book on Sunday. Rabbi Tropper said that there is a lot of pressure to finish, explaining that there are a lot of appeals and serial-number mistakes.
Tropper said he hopes the result of the race for party chairman will be determined in the first round. Regarding reports of the party lining itself up with another faction, he said it was just talk, explaining, "None of the talk or reports is worth much because the decision is in the hands of party institutions. Today there are no agreements signed by party institutions, so nothing is binding and all is open."
