Israel Transferring More Money to Gaza

Israel is sending more money to Gaza among other steps to facilitate more Gazan and PA economic growth, as reported by the Foreign Ministry. According to a report released by the Middle Eastern Economic Affairs Bureau on Wednesday, Israel is taking several steps to strengthen the Palestinian Authority controlled areas of Judea and Samaria and the Gaza area which is currently under Hamas control.
These measures include: project approvals in the Israeli controlled Area C of Judea and Samaria, more permits for non-Israeli citizens to work in Israel, to stay overnight, and to move freely between PA and Israeli areas, and approvals of internationally funded projects in Gaza.
Israel also transferred 100 million shekels (roughly 25 million dollars) from PA controlled areas of Judea and Samaria to Gaza in September of 2012, at the PA's request.
