Female politicians from the United States met Wednesday with members of The Israel Women’s Network. Yaffa Vigodski, head of the Women’s Network, said she hopes to see politicians appeal to the “female vote” in Israel’s upcoming elections as politicians do in the United States.
“In Israel perception is still traditional and conservative, and political candidates, male as well as female, fail to understand the importance of women as a unique target audience,” she stated.
The Israel Women's Network is a fomer New Israel Fund grantee and was co-founded by Naomi Chazan, president of the New Israel Fund.
