Defense Minister Ehud Barak expressed concern Wednesday over the possible partial adoption of the Levy Report, which found that Israeli settlement in Judea and Samaria is legal. “The state of Israel must actively strive to separate from the Palestinians, otherwise we will lose legitimacy,” he warned.

“The ‘whole land of Israel’ approach has gone bankrupt,” Barak continued. “If we attempt revolution, as with the Levy Report, we will do damage to ourselves.”
