Two former First Nations leaders from Canada have made charges of genocide in an interview with Iran’s Press TV. “The reservations were originally more or less concentration camps,” said Terry Nelson, former leader of Manitoba’s Roseau River Anishinabe. The station also interviewed Dennis Pashe.
Nelson has been working to form closer ties between Canada’s First Nations tribes and Iran.
