Minister Yisrael Katz (Likud) and Jewish Home candidate Naftali Bennet were among those who welcomed the partial adoption Wednesday of the Levy Report, which found that Israeli settlement in Judea and Samaria is legal. “Even if this is an elections ploy, it just proves that our community has the power to ensure that we count and that they listen to our requests,” he said.

Katz said, “The adoption of the report is very important, both from an ideological perspective and as a message to Israel and to the world that Jews can live anywhere in the land of Israel, and in Judea and Samaria in particular.”
