The Jerusalem District Court has issued an order barring Israelis from entering the Peace House in Hevron despite a previous ruling stating that the property must be returned to its Jewish owners. The new order is aimed at giving Arabs who oppose the ruling time to appeal to the Supreme Court.
The original ruling stated that the state must give the owners access to the property by the end of this week. Defense Minister Ehud Barak has also agreed to formally recognize the Jewish company’s ownership.
