Morsi Advisor Calls for Urgent Change to Israel Treaty

Mohammed Ismat Seif Al Dawla, advisor to Egyptian President Mohammed Morsi, has called to urgently make changes to the peace treaty his country signed with Israel in 1979, claiming that the entire agreement serves the "Zionist enemy."

Speaking at a conference which was held on Monday on the subject of "Camp David and its impact on Egypt's national security," Al Dawla said that amending the agreement is important for the restoration of Egyptian control over the Sinai Peninsula.

He added that the agreement in its current form maintains the national security of the "Zionist entity" more than it maintains Egypt’s national security.
