Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman recalled slain minister Rehavam “Gandhi” Ze’evi on Tuesday, the 11-year anniversary of his death. “Gandhi was a special man,” Lieberman told Arutz Sheva. “He preferred values to personal or electoral considerations.”
“He was never willing to compromise his values for the sake of getting more votes,” he added. “We lost a fascinating man who was an officer and a gentleman, and a walking encyclopedia as well.”
