Political newcomer Yair Lapid is reportedly seeking a religious-Zionist leader to join his new party. Yesha Council member Sarah Eliyash, speaking to Arutz Sheva, expressed hope that he would fail.
“Yair Lapid, the Likud, and all the other parties – none of them will promote the central ideas of religious Zionism,” she said. What the religious-Zionist community needs now is unity, she said, “Unity is the only way we can have real power.”
