Member of Knesset Zevulun Orlev (Jewish Home Party) announced Tuesday that he supports Jeremy Gimpel as a Jewish Home representative for Knesset elections. Gimpel, together with Ari Abramowitz helped bring in thousands of English-speaking immigrants into the party in a  membership drive over the summer. The two are known for their popular Tuesday Night Live in Jerusalem program. MK Orlev stated, "Jeremy is young, gifted and has entered politics for moral, religious, and Zionist reasons." Orlev is expected to announce his picks for other party members for the Jewish Home list in the coming days. This will be the first time the Jewish Home Party will hold primaries.
