Route 443 Re-opened

Police and soldiers re-opened the Jerusalem-Modi'in highway, Tuesday morning, after residents of the Samarian (Shomron) Palestinian Authority (PA) village of Ur At-Tachta had blocked Highway 443, near the Jewish community of Beit Horon, in protest of the uprooting of olive trees at the start of the olive harvest. One of the protesters was detained for questioning. PA flags, which were waved during the protest, will be removed by the public works department.
