Activist Itzik Alrov, who organized last year's boycott of dairy products because of the high price of cottage cheese, is to be awarded the Knight of Good Government award by the Movement for Quality Government. Alrov is to receive the award for his activity in organizing the consumer rebellion against high prices, an event which arguably set off a chain of protests on the high cost of housing in Israel in summer 2011.

Along with Alrov, the group is to present awards to Knesset Speaker Reuven Rivlin, formet High Court President Dorit Beinisch, Professor Manuel Trachtenberg, and others.
