The friend of missing soldier Majdi Halabi, who found his remains, is asking for the $10 million reward that the Born to Freedom Foundation had offered to anyone with information on Halabi’s whereabouts.
The friend, Ibrahim Kozli, told Channel 2 News on Sunday, “They promised the reward for years and it’s not right that they are now trying to avoid paying the money. I found the soldier and I deserve the money.”
Kozli said that he had turned to a lawyer and consulted him about his intention to sue the Ministry of Defense and the now disbanded Born to Freedom Foundation.
