Benefits for Factories Relocated in Disengagement

The cabinet confirmed, Sunday, that factories of Jews evicted by the government from Gaza and northern Samaria in 2005 will be eligible for benefits if they relocate to the NOAM Industrial Park in the Negev.

Industry, Commerce and Labor Minister Shalom Simchon, who submitted the proposal, said, "The decision will contribute to the development of the  NOAM industrial zone, as well as to the improvement and expansion of employment in the Negev, and will help evacuees from Gush [Katif], whom the state wants to continue to help."
