General Amir Eshel, commander of the Air Force, decided Sunday to ground all warplanes for one day. The decision was made in light of recent risky behavior among pilots, including flying too close together during drills.

An exception was made for defense activity. The IAF has been active Sunday, hitting terror targets in Gaza in response to rocket attacks.
