The official value of the dollar rose an average of .117 percent, Friday, against most of the other featured currencies on the Bank of Israel's foreign-exchange list. The United States dollar was fixed at NIS 3.84, down .312 percent from Thursday's rate while the Euro rose .032 percent to 4.9816 shekels.
The pound sterling was set at NIS 6.1681, down .194 percent, while 100 Japanese yen declined .236 percent to 4.8957 shekels. The Australian dollar was fixed at NIS 3.9458, down .328 percent, while its Canadian counterpart fell .333 percent to 3.926 shekels. The South African Rand rose .61 percent to NIS .4452.
