Journalist and sports commentator Ron Kaufman was attacked by an unknown assailant as he sat in his car in Givatayim on Thursday evening. A team of Magen David Adom paramedics took him to the Ichilov Hospital in Tel Aviv with light injuries to his head.

Kaufman said that he was driving in his car and that at around 8:45 p.m. a person appeared in front of the vehicle, smashed the windshield with a blunt object and fled. Kaufman stressed that he is not at odds with anyone and has no idea who the attacker could be.
