Shekel, Euro Up; Dollars Mixed; Pound, Yen Down

The official value of the shekel rose an average of .127 percent, Thursday, against most of the featured currencies on the Bank of Israel's foreign-exchange list. The United States dollar was fixed at NIS 3.852, down .336 from Wednesday's rate, while the Euro rose .113 percent to 4.98 shekels.

The pound sterling was set at NIS 6.1801, down .107 percent, while 100 Japanese yen declined .594 percent to 4.9073. The Australian dollar rose .005 percent to 3.9588 shekels, while its Canadian counterpart was set at NIS 3.9391, down .349 percent.
