Rivlin: Russia must Stop Iranian Nuclear Program

Knesset Chairman Reuven Rivlin met Russian FM Sergei Lavrov in Russia, and urged him to take advantage of the friendship between Russia and Iran, and apply pressure to halt the Iranian nuclear program. Lavrov responded that there was no evidence of Iran intending to develop nuclear weapons, “a nuclear strike on Israel is highly unlikely, what with millions of Arabs living in Israel.”
