Egypt Frees the Two Children Accused of Tearing Koran

The two children accused of  destroying the Koran and defaming its honor have been freed from prison, their lawyer reports.

The two, aged 9 and 10, were arrested after their Moslem neighbors complained that they had ripped a copy of the Koran.

Their lawyer said that a deal was struck between the Moslems, Copts and Egyptian security forces, but would not furnish details.
