A poll taken by the Hebrew newspaper "Maariv", published this morning, claims that were elections to take place today, the Likud headed by current Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu would win with 29 Knesset seats, followed by the Labor party with 16 seats, Yair Lapid's new Yesh Atid party with 17 and Yisrael Beytenu with 12.
The Kadima party, headed by Shaul Mofaz, would get only 6 seats.
The poll also showed that if former opposition leader Tzippi Livni and former PM Ehud Olmert form a party, as has been rumored, it would get only 10 seats, at the expense of the parties headed by Lapid and Mofaz.
