U.S. President Barack Obama admitted on Wednesday that he was "too polite" towards his Republican rival mitt Romney during their televised debate last week.

In an interview with a local radio program, Obama said, "The good news is that this is only the first debate. I can guarantee that in the next debate you will see a bit more action on my part.”
