"Of course he does not hate Jews, he just grilled them for pleasure in his column every week for years," stated the Kikar Shabbat news outlet. The editorial was referring to Yair Lapid whose new Yesh Atid party is courting secular voters and polling high.
 
"I cannot get offended every time I read or hear people say I hate the Orthodox, the Jews, or the Jewish religion," Lapid said in a recent column, denying that he was biased.
