MK Tzipi Hotovely issued a scathing response Wednesday to reports that former Prime Minister Ehud Olmert plans to return to politics. “The convicted criminal Olmert is giving Israeli citizens the unique opportunity to give the keys to their house to the person who previously broke in,” she said.

“The candidacy of a criminal convicted of corrupt politics must be rejected immediately,” she added.
