Israeli experts in trauma and domestic violence Dr. Michal Finkelstein and Dr. Sara Siglet are taking part in a project to help reduce domestic violence in Peru. The project involves meetings with a local team to teach methods of recognizing and dealing with violence within the family.

The local experts include many psychologists and a nurse, priest and economist as well.

At the same time, the Tzfat College School for Social Work and a local South American university are considering cooperating on studies related to domestic violence and care for families.
