Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu is expected to announce Tuesday that elections for the 19th Knesset will be held in February 2013. If the expectations are fulfilled, the current Knesset session – the fifth session of the 18th Knesset – will be shorter than usual.

Netanyahu is expected to call for early elections due to lack of coalition consensus on the 2013 budget.
