Lieutenant Colonel (res.) Shlomo Nitzani was buried Tuesday in the military cemetery on Har Herzl in Jerusalem. Nitzani was decorated as a war hero following the Yom Kippur war, during which he found in the Suez Canal region.

Hundreds took part in the funeral ceremony, including former top IDF brass.
