State Comptroller Yosef Shapira has called to postpone planned price hikes. He called on ministers to freeze their activity in the matter, and asked MK Uri Ariel, head of the State Control Committee, to move forward a planned meeting to discuss the issue.

The planned hikes include scheduled price increases for several food items. The Agriculture Ministry and Ministry of Trade and Labor have been planning steps to address the issue.
