People in Israel are buying marble blocks from Iran at high volume on a regular basis, according to Globes business news, which quotes an article from Yedioth Ahronoth newspaper. "Despite tightening economic sanctions against Iran, Israeli marble imports from Iran are injecting millions of dollars a year into the struggling Iranian economy," Globes stated in an online article on Tuesday. The report added that the Israel Tax Authority has no customs data on trade with Iran, indicating the sales could be of questionable legality.
