The Jewish Home Party, or Bayit Yehudi, as it is called in Hebrew, is gearing up for its primaries, now rescheduled for November 20th.
Liora Minka, Chairperson of Emunah Israel, has expressed support for the candidacy of Amiad Taub. Emuna is an organization founded by religious women which supports schools and other educational institutions and outreach work.
The relatively young Amiad Taub has been with the Jewish Home Party since its previous incarnation as the National Religious Party. "I support Amiad because he represents to the best in classical religious Zionism and promotes issues [pertaining to] young people," Minka stated.
Newcomers Ari Abramowitz and Jeremy Gimpel are also in the race as well. Candidates for leadership in the party are Naftali Bennet, Knesset Minister Daniel Hershkowitz and Member of Knesset Zevulun Orlev.
