Deputy Mayor Avi Wortzman of Be'er Sheva' announced, Tuesday, his support for Naftali Bennett in the race for chairman of the Bayit Yehudi (Jewish Home-New National Religious Party). During a tour of Be'er Sheva, Bennett endorsed Wortzman.

Wortzman is running for a spot on the party's Knesset list. He lost to Rabbi Professor Daniel Hershkowitz in the last chairmanship elections.
