Finance Minister Yuval Steinitz leaked information from a security-diplomatic cabinet meeting in order to sow discord between Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Ehud Barak, according to a Tuesday report by the Kuwaiti newspaper Al-Jarida. Investigators from the Shabak Israel Security Agency traced the source of the leak through a check of telephone calls by ministers.

Steinitz's office vehemently denied the charges.
