Rivlin Leads Knesset Delegation to Moscow

Knesset Speaker Reuven Rivlin and Knesset members Ze'ev Elkin (Likud), Robert Ilatov (Yisrael Beytenu), Chaim Katz (Likud) and Marina Solodkin (Kadima) left, Monday evening, on a trip to Russia, against the backdrop of Russian policy on Syria and Iran. During the visit, Rivlin is scheduled to meet with Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and Chairwoman Valentina Matviyenko of the Federation Council, Russia's upper house of parliament, and address the parliament.

On Wednesday, the Knesset speaker will open the Israeli Film Festival in Moscow, which is intended to promote cooperation between the two countries in the field, including the promotion of co-productions.
