Elkin: Elections Appear Unavoidable

Coalition Chairman Ze'ev Elkin told Arutz Sheva, Sunday, that it appears that early elections are unavoidable, even coalition parties are not interested in the prospect. He explained, "All the parties want to pass a budget and not go to the polls, but are taking the well-known method where "the neighbor pays."

Elkin emphasized that the additional budgets given to different items such as free education from age three, tax credits for parents of children up to age 3, etc., require funding, some of which will be financed by an increase in the budget, but the other part will have to come from cutting other items such as child allowances, which some parties oppose."
