The army of Yemen prevented an attack that was planned for Saturday at an air force base where United States soldiers train. A Yemeni military source reported that a car bomb near the base was neutralized before it was set to go off.

No arrests were made but the Yemeni Defense Ministry accused the Al-Qaeda terror network stood behind the attempt.
