Former Shas chairman Aryeh Deri held a political rally in his sukkah in Jerusalem on Friday morning. The first of its kind rally was attended by many public figures and political activists who may take an active part in his future election campaign.
In an interview with the Yediot Achronot newspaper on Erev Sukkot, Deri clearly stated that he intended to return to the political system. However, it remains unclear whether he will launch a new party or integrate back into Shas in some form or another.
