Forces of the Anti-Terror Unit arrived at the Leonardo Club Hotel in Eilat, Friday morning, shortly after a man described by police as an American tourist opened fire in the lobby of the hotel with a gun he grabbed from a security guard. The forces are negotiating with the alleged shooter, who is barricaded in a hotel room.

A man believed to be a hotel worker was killed in the shooting. Others were treated for trauma.
