Police: Undercover Agent Attacked, Wounded by Four Jews

The Samaria (Shomron)-Judea police said, Thursday, that four Jews attacked members of the Yassam special police forces as the officers carried out an undercover operation against Jews who were suspected of illegal activities against residents of the Palestinian Authority.

One officer was lightly wounded and treated at the scene of the attack. Police arrested three residents of the Judean Jewish community of Susia, in the southern Hevron Hills, who were known to police from prior incidents. The arrest of a fourth suspect is expected. Remand hearings are scheduled for Friday.
