Justice Minister Ya'akov Ne'eman said, Thursday evening, "The Nachal Hareidi is the key to inducting people who observe commandments." Speaking at an event in Jerusalem for the hareidi-religious army unit, he added, "You are a shining example of how to combine Torah with Israel's security."

Ne'eman continued, "Without the protection of the Torah, we won't be able to exist here as a free and democratic Jewish state."
