Jerusalem March Today: Expect Traffic Jams

Traffic jams are expected today in Jerusalem and many roads will be closed to vehicular traffic, because of the annual Jerusalem March that takes place on the Intermediate Days of the Sukkot holiday.

Tens of thousands of marchers from all over Israel and the world are expected to participate.

Note: Between 1 and 6 p.m., the following streets will be closed to vehicles: Ben Tzvi, Ben Yehuda, King George, Shmuel Hanagid, Hllel, King David, Remez and Rabin Boulevard.

Police recommend entering the city via route 443 or through the Arazim tunnel at Motza, rather than the main route 1 entrance.
